Oh What Do You Do In The Summertime...June 2011

We are SOOOO incredibly lucky to have Aunties that are photographers! Sally and Gager came to visit and while she was here, Sally generously took pictures of my little guys! Deakin was ready for a nap, so she did awesome getting these pics!

Dillon loves to help his little brother learn to walk. By the way, Deakin took his first steps this past week. 9 months old...not too bad!

This picture is for Grandma and Grandpa West: just wanted you to see how much he LOVES this toy. It is a winner for sure!

This is a regular scene at our house: Daddy goes in to help baby go to sleep, and this is what I find every time! I'm not sure who is helping who go to sleep.

Grandma and Grandpa West gave us the Pass of all Passes to Trafalga and Seven Peaks Water park. We have loved it!!!! This was our first outing to Trafalga. Yesterday we went to Seven Peaks, and had to drag Dillon away with a tear in his eye. But, the minute we got the boys buckled in their car seats, they were asleep literally in under 2 minutes.

Deaky sleeps on his tummy now, always with his legs tucked up under him. So adorable. Love the bed hair too!

And, what summer could be complete without going fishing with your Daddy? This was a very funny fishing day: Dillon had this fish on the line and got really excited. So, as he was reeling it in, he was also jumping up and down, and so he pulled the fish right out of the water and it came back and smacked him in the face! It took a while to convince him that he was alright and to continue fishing!

Father's Day 2011. We made Daddy a candy-gram, that we (me and the kidders) mostly ate in church that day. We also gave him a figurine for his office of two brothers, the big brother is helping the baby walk. It was cute, and we both cried a little.

Dillon took swimming lessons for the first time. He was in the white class, and passed! Hooray. I was really proud of him. He obeyed his teachers without any problems. He stayed on the stairs, and did what they asked when they asked. It was fun to watch him from the booth above the pool.

Poor pictures, but documented nonetheless.Another example of Daddy getting the kids to sleep. =) I love this pictures though because if you look closely, their hands are linked.These pictures are out of order...but Deakin got his very first haircut! As you can tell by the picture below, we found success by loading him with chocolate!
