We went the the American West Heritage Center (
AWHC) for play group this week, and had so much fun, we had to bring Daddy back on Saturday! Our first stop was, of course, the train ride! Notice how Dill is riding by himself in the very front...ya, he told us he was a big boy and to "go" as he pointed to the other seats. Goofy kid.
Next was the petting zoo. Dillon kept trying to get friendly with the mama goat...which we ended up leaving in a hurry as not to get rammed by her massive horns.
One of his favorite stops was the massive slide. He slipped off of his mat a few times, but still had a ball!
This was Dillon "jumping" off of the straw stack. He wouldn't really jump, but get down on his bum and then boost himself off. He must be a little afraid of heights just like his Daddy.
Sorry for the blurry picture, but I had to show a picture of this fun mini-train that they had. They took him on a tour all around the center while
Jonny and I warmed our toes by a fire. Man, was it freezing!
They built a pirate ship out of hay, and Dillon LOVED it! We decided that we really need to get him some dress-ups, because he ran around with that hat and sword for a good 20 minutes.
And, lastly were the pony rides. Since there was no one in line behind us, Dillon got to ride each horse 2-3 times. He thought it was the greatest. Can't wait to ride Grandma and Grandpa's horses next summer! It should also me mentioned that soon after this picture, Dillon instructed
Jonny to "go" once again, in a not so nice voice...and that he was a big boy and didn't need
